Always tweeze one hair at a time in direction of hair growth to avoid breakage.  To increase spring tension, gently pull the two halves of the tweezer slightly apart.  Once you have increased the tension, you cannot decrease it.  Clean tips after each use.

Care Tips — Whether you have one favorite Tweezerman tweezer style or you love to collect several different designs, remember that spring tension can be increased by gently pulling tweezer tips apart, but once increased the tension can't be decreased.  Avoid dropping tweezers, as it can damage the tips and throw tweezers out of alignment.
